I recently spoke to legendary investor Tom Russo on ‘Investing By The Books’. Our conversation was centered around two great books – ‘Richer, Wiser, Happier’ by William Green and ‘Common stocks and uncommon profits’ by Phil Fisher.
We discuss a number of topics including the current environment for investing in consumer stocks, how to assess if challenges facing a business are temporary or structural, how to identify good stewards of capital, the capital cycle in spirits etc.
